Pita Pizzas
This recipe is simple and a healthy pizza alternative. Have pitas on hand either fresh or in the freezer, and use ingredients you already have for this easy weeknight meal!
My mom used to make these for a quick meal when I was a kid, and I am glad I payed attention to her cooking growing up. She was very creative when it came to making dinner fast and delicious. These pita pizzas can be anything your heart desires. Have a can of artichoke hearts and spinach? Make a spinach artichoke dip pizza. Have buffalo sauce and leftover chicken? Boom. Buffalo chicken pizza.
The recipe below is made up of ingredients I usually put on pizzas (as seen above), but feel free to exchange ingredients for something else. Get creative!
