Pizza Puffs
These cheesy stuffed pizza bites are perfect for your next movie night snack. This recipe is so easy and can be made in under 30 minutes!
Four years ago I came up with this recipe and I never realized it’s full potential. A few nights ago I made these for my family and the positive feedback was amazing. This recipe is so easy and cheaper than buying a bag of frozen pizza rolls from the store.
Before I was a vegetarian I would put pepperoni slices inside each pizza bite along with cheese. I am still searching for a meatless pepperoni brand, so if anyone has recommendations please comment below! You could also use sausage or veggies!
I hope you enjoy this recipe and let me know what you think!
Oven Preheat: 375 Degrees
Baking Time: 20-25 Minutes
Ingredients:
Jumbo biscuits (8) cut into fourths
1 block mozzarella cheese cut into cubes
Pasta sauce or pesto (dipping sauce)
1 tsp garlic salt
2 minced garlic cloves
2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
Directions:
Cut each biscuit into four pieces.
Take a cheese cube and piece of biscuit dough and wrap dough around cheese. Make sure to pinch the dough enough that it seals the cheese inside. This will prevent the cheese from going everywhere while baking. You can also stuff pizza bites with pepperoni or sausage!
Place each stuffed dough piece in a baking dish lining them up so there is 5-6 pieces in each row.
In small bowl mix olive oil, garlic salt, and minced garlic.
Using a pastry brush or your hands rub garlic oil mix over dough pieces.
Place in oven preheated to 375 and bake for 20-25 minutes or until tops of dough are brown.
Once cooked dip pizza puffs in sauce of your choice. I used pesto and marinara!
Enjoy!
