Easy Overnight Oatmeal

Mornings can be stressful! Take 3 minutes before you go to bed to make this simple and easy oatmeal that will give you a bright start to your day.

Oats are high in fiber and will leave you feeling full and satisfied up until lunch time. Chia seeds were actually used in the Aztec cultures because they provided strength and endurance to the body. They are also high in vitamins and minerals and will help keep you full!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup oats 

1 cup milk of choice (I prefer coconut milk)

1 1/2 tbs chia seeds

1/2 tbs ground flax seeds

1/2 tbs coco powder

Pinch of cinnamon and salt

1 tbs peanut butter melted (garnish)

Honey (optional)

Directions:

Put oats, chia seeds, milk, flax seeds, coco powder, salt, and cinnimon into small tuber wear bowl with a fitted lid and mix with spoon. Put in fridge and leave overnight. 

Next Morning: Top with melted peanut butter, fresh fruit, walnuts, or honey! The oats may be thick so add more milk of your choice. Simple as that:)
