Peanut Butter Granola
This simple granola recipe is done in under 30 minutes! Prep ahead of time for an easy on the go breakfast.
I am in love with this recipe y’all! It is one that I have been working on for a few years now and each time it was alright, but it wasn’t internet worthy, you know?
This recipe really is easy. You just throw it all into a bowl and bake it on a sheet pan and you have multiple granola servings that is cheaper and healthier than what you would buy in the store.
I hope you guys enjoy this recipe, and let me know what you think! :)
Oven Preheat: 350°
Cook Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
3 cups oats
2 tablespoons chia seeds
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup peanut butter (liquidy brand or melted)
1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
2 tablespoons coconut oil or olive oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts (I prefer walnuts)
1/4 cup coconut flakes (optional)
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl add all ingredients together and toss together with spatula until all ingredients are covered and well incorporated.
On a baking sheet lined with foil (optional), place your oat mixture and spread out evenly.
Bake for 10 minutes and then remove from oven to toss granola, and then bake for another 5 minutes.
Allow granola to cool before storing in container to retain freshness.
Enjoy as cereal or as a topping for smoothies and fruit! :)
