Healthy Peanut Butter Banana Cookies

Healthy Peanut Butter Banana Cookies

If banana bread and a cookie had a baby it would be this. These cookies are soft and creamy, and I promise you once you start eating them, you won’t be able to stop.

I have to be honest, out of all my recipes this one is very high up in my favorites. Whenever I crave cookies or cookie dough, but don’t want to indulge, I whip these up. These cookies are so delicious, and fewer calories! I also highly recommend doubling this recipe, more is just better I promise. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe banana mashed

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)

  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cup walnuts

  • Dash of vanilla

  • Dash of cinnamon and salt (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

Directions:

In bowl mix banana and peanut butter together and add flour, vanilla, and baking soda. Then, mix in chocolate chips, chia seeds, cinnamon, and nuts. The batter will be very sticky so drop onto greased pan with spoon. Finally, shape  into cookie form and bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. They will be soft once they come out of the oven so let them sit on the stove for a few minutes. Once they are cooled enjoy!

*This recipe makes 6 cookies*
